Friday was beyond my wildest expectations as I secured a premises to expand into later this year. I have many hurdles and hoops to jump over/through in the coming months but the potential this gives me to help more people, just like you, in the future really excites me.
I can't wait to get going and I'll no doubt be keeping you posted on progress with this development in due course.... watch this space!
By Sunday, my life had flipped on it's head. Sadly my cat was knocked over by a car and was killed. He was only a young boy and his desire to go chase an adventure was infectious. He was an absolute treat to look after and had the perfect temperament.
I'm gutted. Absolutely gutted.
My desire to do the smaller things is at absolute zero right now and not only that but my own training is suffering because of it.
It's tough but the reality is that sometimes we get knocked off our true path for a period of time. It could be because of work, something in our personal life, an injury or you just simply lose motivation. All we can do is dust ourselves down and get back on track when the time is right.
But it's important not to rush it. Allow yourself some down time and when your head is screwed back on (and you will get there, trust me) refocus on that goal and push back on.
Don't beat yourself up.
I'd love to know what techniques you use to refocus when your motivation goes - drop me an email over at firstname.lastname@example.org
