OK, I'll be frank here.
Well, I'll be Matt but you get the point.
Running is my biggest fitness passion. I absolutely bloody love it and think everyone should do it. It's marvellous.
Back in 2013 when I first started my own health and fitness journey it was the discovery of running that lead me to lose 5st in weight and go from struggling to walk up a flight of stairs without getting out of breathe to somebody that has run multiple marathons and ultramarathons since that turnaround point.
But enough humble bragging about my own achievements, what we're really here for is you.
Since I've been running I've taken a keen interest in different training approaches, strength and conditioning, psychology and nutrition of running and have worked with a number of individuals helping them to achieve their own goals, from running their very first 5k to half marathons, and full marathons.
Now I'd like to help you!
Online cookie-cutter run programmes can work. In fact, they do work. But only for some people. The reason for this is because we are all individuals, with strengths and weaknesses in different places so what works for one person may not work for another.
With Online Coaching you get your very own coach - Me! I provide you with an individualised and bespoke training programme to follow and I'm with you every step of the way - if your situation calls for a change in plans then everything can be tweaked at a moments notice.
Beginning with a skype call or email exchange we'll gather all of the relevant information and talk about your goals, and from there I will create you a running programme, including strength and conditioning sessions and technique advice on a 4 weekly rolling basis. This will be perfect both if you've got an event in mind to train for or if you're looking to make big improvements to your existing performance.

Run With Matt
If you want a bit of support during a run, be it you're just starting out and need some help with pacing, or you want a specific hill or interval session designed and planned for you then I'm here to help you get through that. Depending on the situation sessions can ultimately last as long as you want them too!
My rates for this service are £40 per hour (one off session) and I'm available throughout the week.
I'm also LiRF qualified so can lead groups. If you and friends or colleagues want a joint session or you want to 'learn to run' for instance then a one off session or a whole programme can be designed just for you.
